Accounts are opened by hand, in small batches, so that the first recording someone puts in works. It takes one email, and you will get an answer either way.

How it works

  • One. The button below opens your mail app with the subject already written. Add what you record, roughly how long it runs, and how often you post. Three short answers make the reply specific.
  • Two. You get a reply within two working days. If there is no place open, the reply says so and you are not asked to wait on a list that never moves.
  • Three. If there is a place, your account is opened and you are sent the address. No card is taken at that point, and nothing is charged until you deliberately choose a plan.
  • Four. Put a real recording in and read the list. If it is not useful, say so; that is the most useful thing anyone can tell us.

Email [email protected]

That opens your own email app, so nothing is sent until you press send. If it doesn't open, write to [email protected] directly.

What an account includes

Every account starts on the Free plan: 20-minute sources, three projects, three exports at 720p, watermarked. It is enough to see whether the shortlist finds the moments you would have found yourself. Plans for longer sources, 1080p files and no watermark are listed in the app, and can be switched on and off from there.

Who it suits

People with a recording habit and a backlog: a podcast, a stream, a coaching call, a webinar, a long interview, a sermon. Typically a drive with six to thirty recordings on it, an hour or more each, and no editor.

Who it doesn't suit

Anyone who needs the clips published for them: SnipHawk exports files and stops there. Anyone who needs frame-accurate editing with a full timeline: this is a shortlist and an export, and a clip that needs real editing still needs an editor. Someone posting once a month will probably find the Free plan is enough on its own.
